Artist's Comments

Here is one of the main characters from a Naga-based story I've been toying with the idea of.

His name is River, and he's the Guardian of his clan's Oracle, which is basically their leader. I will have more info later, as I decide what to do with this whole story.

His scale pattern is not permanent. I'm just figuring out what I like to draw more; regular snake scales or this kind of thing, which is what I call dragon scales. I think i prefer snake scales for him.

River is mine.

I'm serious. I was watching CSI and I saw a spider in a glass case, y'know, dead and spread out so it could be studied or put up decoratively, and I got really excited. XD I was babbling about how cool it would be to have one and to be able to study everything up close. Then I stopped and realized what I'd been doing. ^_^ lmao

XD I think spiders are interesting. I'd love to hold a tarantula. It's almost like I'm fighting the instinctive urge to hate it, though. Like I'm making my mind like it and it doesn't like that. Very interesting. XD

I hate beetles and beetle-like things, though. Except ladybugs.

D: I have tramatic experienxce with beetles. Spiders are just creepy-crawly regular.
It's rather annoying to wake up and find an ant on your face, though. -_-

Eh, I found it rather interesting. If I found a beetle on me, though- not so much. I'd be more scared than if I'd just seen a horror movie marathon. -_-
